Experimenting with colors a bit for this mermaid vector doodle. Just need to finish it and think of a background. But, I’m stuck. Suggestions and/or input?:)

A vector drawing inspired by this awesome (ah, there’s so many amazing artists on here, that it’s hard to not be inspired by them all.XD) artist: http://edarow.tumblr.com/ He has an amazing sense of colors and patterns, so I decided to play around with some of those wonderful things and see where they lead me.:)

I really should go to bed, but for some reason, I’m not super sleepy yet.:P
Anyways, what do you think? This is a vector of that sketch from earlier. She is one of a pair of death related deities and queen of the five eyed spirits. She is the one that gathers the threads of memory from those who have just departed. I’ve been really into drawing these monster-creature deity creatures along with their very unique patterned (I was going for very tribal and colorful things) costumes and color schemes like that mermaid bubble one from before. I might draw out the guy (the remaining part of the pair) and add him as well.:)
I made a square version of that last drawing. Woo! Four more drawings left for my square illustration series project thingie I’m trying to work on.:)
The finished (for now) version of this Halloween themed picture that I’ve been working on and off throughout the past few weeks. A monster band full of ghouls, spiders, and monsters play a creepy song together. And on the side, they solve mysteries and stuff, you know, normal cool teen stuff. lol
Just think, in a month, Halloween will be here!
Slowly trying to get out of this pesky art drought I’m having, so I vectored a doodle of mine that I did over the last day or so. I still want to do another illustration with a background, but got to work up to that. I am happy with the hands in this drawing though. I think they’re the best pair I’ve done in vector so far. Woot!:D Anyways, another creature/monster doodle…
Here’s a random doodle of a harpy-bird woman and her chicks that I probably won’t finish for awhile since I’m not digging it.:P
“Cuckoo Cocoa Cat” Little Miss Cat serves her friends, Little Miss Fox and Little Miss Mouse, some hot cocoa with the help of assistants: two sassy cats and a group of hot cocoa creatures. After all, a good host and lady must be able to properly feed and entertain her guests.
Bits of this piece were inspired/influenced from an artist I adore on the Internet here.
Another vector-texture illustration, and it’s one that I actually like. Yay!:) Will try to finish more in-between jobs and life stuff. Whoosh! Away to do more art!XD
Finished…for now. I’ll probably tweak things down the road as usual.:P
A little girl along with two mysterious, supernatural creatures are surrounded by rainbow colored dream fish. This was an attempt to create creatures that were a bit more abstract looking like the fish here.:)
Based on the same cast of characters in a drawing I uploaded a few weeks ago except the two creatures were in the forms of two large fish since they’re shape-shifters.:)
A work-in-progress. Making progress on a possible new illustration. So many fish and bubbles to make and tweak. O _ O
I might move the people to the front instead of the back. What do you think?
Derping around in Illustrator again. This will probably be a component of a larger illustration I’m going to start working on and will have a different color scheme. I just got carried away and started making them different colors.XD;
Anyways, these are characters from a comic that I’m slowly working on. They’re from a species that can travel through time and space easily, and the main character bumps into some of them throughout the story. In this drawing, the three (led by the clan’s princess at the front and the two in the back are her attendants) perform a dance with metal chime things. These gals fun to draw.:)
